Kate Middleton, best man Prince Harry and the bridesmaids gathered at Westminster Abbey this morning for one last rehearsal before Friday’s royal wedding at which her brother, James, will deliver the only reading.

Middleton and Prince William snuck into the abbey Wednesday night through a side door for an earlier run-through.

Buckingham Palace also released the official program this morning. The 27-page program includes the full order of service, a personal message of thanks from the bride and groom, and a new black and white photograph of the couple taken by engagement photographer and invited wedding guest Mario Testino.

It’s now official that Middleton will not “obey” William but will promise to “love, honor, comfort and keep him.”

They have also apparently written their own vows for the royal wedding. When Middleton, 29, was photographed leaving her family home in Bucklebury Thursday, there was a leaf of paper visible in the back seat of the car in which she was riding that included a passage from an unrecognized work.

Many of the words were obscured, but the cameras caught the sentence, “With so much love within our hearts.”

It could be from a separate reading, but has aroused speculation that Middleton and William might have followed the example of many young couples and written their own wedding vows.

Meanwhile, Kate’s brother, James Middleton, 23, will give the only reading at the wedding.

A global television audience of millions is expected Friday and royal fans are already camping outside the abbey. “Whether it’s raining, snowing or what, this is an event that you do not want to miss,” a U.S. camper said.

William, 28, spent his second to last day as a single man playing soccer in Battersea Park before screeching back, almost incognito, to the palace on his Italian motorcycle.

Middleton spent the day moving luggage. And her dad, Michael Middleton, was photographed going into the Goring hotel where Middleton and sister Pippa will sleep tonight.

“Really, privately, there’s nothing particularly ‘princessy’ about Kate,” said Duncan Larcombe, royal editor at the Sun newspaper. “She wouldn’t sort of stand there and expect ladies-in-waiting to carry her bags for her. I mean, that might come when she marries into the family.”

Larcombe also told ABC News that Prince Charles will be alone with his sons tonight, as Camilla is going to the Mandarin Oriental Hotel with the queen.

Also, this morning, a new photograph was released. It’s another portrait of the couple by Testino, Diana’s, and now William’s, favorite photographer.

The picture will be in the official program, alongside a personal message from the couple that reads:

“We are both so delighted that you are able to join us in celebrating what we hope will be one of the happiest days of our lives. The affection shown to us by so many people during our engagement has been incredibly moving, and has touched us both deeply. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone most sincerely for their kindness.”

And, finally, after the royal wedding, Larcombe said, the newlyweds will travel to America in July and are to visit Los Angeles.

Godman Sathya Sai Baba, whose message of universal love and brotherhood attracted millions of followers across the globe, was on Wednesday interred at the very spot from where he used to meet and address his disciples for years.

The mortal remains of the 85-year-old spiritual leader, whose clout spread far and wide among both the commoners and the high mighty, were buried after the last rites were performed by his nephew RJ Ratnakar in accordance with vedic customs following full police honours.

Watched by a galaxy of political personalities including Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka chief ministers N Kiran Kumar Reddy and BS Yeddyurappa, governors ESL Narasimhan and Shivraj V Patil, BJP leaders LK Advani, M Venkiah Naidu, Bandaru Dattatreya, former AP chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu and former Maharashtra chief minister Ashok Chavan and hundreds of his followers, Sai Baba’s body was buried amidst chanting of “Sai” mantras.

Once the last rites were performed by vedic pandits, red curtains were drawn around 9:45 am and the process started for laying the body in a pit created at the spot in Sai Kulwant where the spiritual leader used to make his preachings for his followers for a number of years. It lasted about 25 minutes.

The spot where he was buried is now expected to become an eternal memorial for Sai Baba, who at the age of 14 announced himself as a reincarnation of Shirdi Sai Baba. He made his mark initially with miracles but later founded institutions of excellence in education and medical facilities besides undertaking development work and philanthropy.

Sai Baba died on Sunday morning after fighting illness for nearly a month caused by multi-organ failure.

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Congress president Sonia Gandhi, political leaders from various parties, chief ministers and personalities from various fields including cricket and films had visitedPuttaparthi in the last two days to pay their homage.

An estimated five lakh people from various parts of the country and abroad had filed past the body to have a final glimpse of their spiritual guru.

The curtains were removed after 40 minutes for the people to have a glimpse of the ‘samadhi’ where the body was laid to rest in line with the practice adopted for Hindu spirital leaders. Normally, Hindus cremate their bodies.

Governor Narasimhan, chief minister Reddy, Advani, Chandra Babu Naidu and other leaders went to the samadhi had a word with Ratnakar and sprinkled sacred ash at the spot.

Earlier, a little before 9 am, the glass casket in which Sai Baba’s body was lying in state from Sunday night was removed and the body was wrapped in national tri colour for a brief while.

Men of the Andhra Pradesh Armed Police sounded the last post and fired 21 shots in the air as a mark of respect.

Then the tri colour was removed and verses from Hindu, Christian, Islamic, Sikh, Judaism and Buddhist scriptures were read out by leaders from these sects. Later, they joined in sprinkling the sacred ash at the samadhi spot as ‘mangal aarti’ was performed.

With Sai Baba’s body draped in his favourite saffron robe, the last rites were performed by Ratnakar, who wept inconsolably, while priests recited vedic chants.

Ratnakar is a member of the powerful Sathya Sai Central Trust, estimated to be possession of wealth to the tune of Rs.40,000 crore, and is believed to be a contender in the race to head the trust.

Water from sacred rivers from all over the country were sprinkled on Sai Baba’s body along with cow urine. Cow, honey, ghee and silk were given as gifts to priests.

After the ceremony was over, people gathered at the hall rushed to have a look at the samadhi, which was open for public viewing after 11.45 am.

…Wedding Bells

Wedding bells are ringing in the chapel
that should have been ringing
out for you and me.
Now down the isle you walk
with someone else on your arm
instead of me.
We thought in our love
we had everything
until he came along
and swept you off your feet
taking you from my loving arms.

Now up the isle you go with him
to take your wedding vows
as I stand watching,
just another face in the crowd.
I could say something
but I won’t,
as this is your wedding day
I shall simply slip into the shadows
and then slowly slip away.
You have a new life before you,
one I hope will bring you joy
as the wedding bells keep ringing
for your wedding day.

Voice of Love….

From the very beginning, the girl’s family objected strongly on her dating this guy. Saying that ithas got to do with family background & that the girl will have to suffer for the rest of her life if shewere to be with him.

Due to family’s pressure, the couple quarrelled often. Though the girl love the guy deeply, but she
always asked him: “How deep is your love for me?”

The Guy for his masters was going overseas & before leaving he proposed to the girl: “I’m notvery good with words. But all I know is that I love you. If you allow me, I will take care of you forthe rest of my life. As for your family, I’ll try my best to talk them round. Will you marry me?”

The girl agreed, & with the guy’s determination, the family finally gave in & agreed to let them get
married. So before he left, they got engaged.

The girl went out to the working society, whereas the guy was overseas, doing his masters. One day, while the girl was on her way to work, she was knocked down by a car & lost hervoice……

She did not wish to let the guy know & not wanting to be a burden to him, she wrote a letter tohim saying that she has a new man in her life & sent the engagement ring back to him & evenforced her parents to move to another city so that the Guy could not locate her.

A few years passed & her best friend who only knew where she had moved came with an
envelope one day, containing an invitation card for this guy’s wedding. The girl was shattered but
When she opened the letter, she saw her name in it instead.

When she was about to ask her friend what’s going on, she saw the guy standing in front of her.
He used sign language telling her “Even after that letter I did not lose hope when I came back I
got in touch with your best friend & discovered what happened. I spent last one year to learn sign
language. Just to let you know that I’ve not forgotten our promise. Let me have the chance to be
your voice. I Love You.”

With that, he slipped the ring back into her finger. 🙂

Misty !!!

My name is Misty
I am but three,
My eyes are swollen
I cannot see,

I must be stupid
I must be bad,
What else could have made
My daddy so mad?

I wish I were better
I wish I weren’t ugly,
Then maybe my mommy
Would still want to hug me.

I can’t speak at all
I can’t do a wrong,
Or else Im locked up
All the day long.

When I awake
I’m all alone,
The house is dark
My folks arent home

When my mommy does come
I’ll try and be nice,
So maybe I’ll get
Just one whipping tonight.

Don’t make a sound!
I just heard a car,
My daddy is back
From Charlie’s Bar.

I hear him curse
My name he calls,
I press myself
Against the wall

I try and hide
From his evil eyes,
I’m so afraid
Now I’m starting to cry

He finds me weeping
He shouts ugly words,
He says its my fault
That he suffers at work.

He slaps me and hits me
And yells at me more,
I finally get free
And I run for the door.

He’s already locked it
And I start to bawl,
He takes me and throws me
Against the hard wall.

I fall to the floor
With my bones nearly broken,
And my daddy continues
With more bad words spoken.

“I’m sorry!”, I scream
But its now much too late
His face has been twisted
Into unimaginable hate

The hurt and the pain
Again and again,
Oh please God, have mercy!
Oh please let it end!

And he finally stops
And heads for the door,
While I lay there motionless
Sprawled on the floor

My name is Misty
And I am but three,
Tonight my daddy Murdered me.

Hell is Real !!!

I went into my classroom
Ready for another year at school.
I didn’t want the work,
Just wanted to hang and be cool.

I had on new clothes,
New sneaks on my feet.
I was there for class on time
Went to the back and took my seat.

Yeah, I’m moving up.
I’m already grown.
Soon I’ll be graduating
And out on my own.

I talked to some of my friends.
We were all having fun.
Said some things I shouldn’t have said,
Did stuff I shouldn’t have done.

I knew I was different.
I felt God touch my heart.
I knew I should set a standard,
But then I’d be set apart.

Walking to the bus,
was not looking for strength.
I heard the car tires screeching,
But now it’s too late.

I’m standing in this room
And I can see the heavenly gate.
Oh no!I never prayed.
I thought I had time to get it straight.

An angel walked to me.
He had a book in his hand.
I knew it was the Book of Life.
When would this dream end?
I told him my name
And he began to look.
Then he looked at me sadly and said
Your name is not in this book.

Angel, this is a dream.

No, I can’t be dead!
He closed the book and turned away.
He whispered – You cannot proceed ahead.

No…no this can’t be real.
Angel, you can’t turn me away.
Let me talk to God.
Maybe He’ll let me stay.

He led me to the gate.
Jesus came to me,
He did not let me in but said,
Beloved what is your need?

Jesus, I cried, please
Don’t cast me away from you.
Tears ran down His face as He said,
You knew what you needed to do.

Lord, please I’m young.
I never thought I would die.
I thought I’d have plenty of time.
Death caught me by surprise.

Lord, I went to church.
Please Jesus, I believe.
He said you would not accept me.
My love you would not receive.

Lord, there were too many hypocrites.
They weren’t being true.
He took a step back and asked
What does that have to do with you?

Lord, my family claimed to be saved,
They weren’t real.You know.
He said, I died for you.
Now I have to go.

I fell to my knees crying to Him.
Lord, I planned to be real tomorrow
I couldn’t, make Him understand.
I had never — felt such sorrow.

Then it hit me hard, I said
Lord, where will I go?
He looked into my eyes and said,
My child you already know.

Please Jesus, I begged
The place is so hot.
It seemed to trouble and grieve Him.
He whispered, depart from me, I know you not.

Lord, you’re supposed to be love.
How can you send me to damnation?
He replied, With your mouth you said you loved me,
But each day you rejected my salvation.

With that in an instant,
Day turned into night.
I never knew such torture could be.
Now too late, I know the Bible is right.

If I can tell you anything,
Hell has no age.
It is a place of torture,
Separated from God and full of rage.

You know I thought it was funny — a joke,
But this one thing is true.
If you never accept Jesus Christ
Hell is waiting for you.

She was a beautiful young woman, just into her twenties. Happy, outgoing and extremely friendly, Kelly had no trouble making friends. She was little more than a year from completing college and her dream job would be awaiting when she finished. But now, for the first time in her life, things were in total disarray. Her boyfriend of several years had just broken off the relationship as he chose to take a job offer half way across the country. What he didn’t know was that he would not only be leaving Kelly behind, but he would be leaving a daughter behind too.

Weeks before her boyfriend moved away, Kelly suspected she was pregnant, but didn’t want to further disrupt things by saying anything. She knew that while she had loved her boyfriend, they would both be able to move on to independently forge happy and successful lives. After having confirmed her suspicions about being pregnant she took some time to contemplate. She had met with several doctors and finally decided it would be best to quietly end the pregnancy. A few weeks later, after having researched her options, she went in for an abortion and came out assured that she had made the right choice.

Kelly eventually got married and did in fact build a happy family. No one ever knew her secret, but it was best that way. At times she did think about the past and the daughter she almost had, but for the most part, life was good to Kelly. This afternoon, things changed.

Kelly was on her way to pick up her two teenagers from school when her car was side-swiped by a semi-trailer. No seatbelt or airbag was a match for the blunt force that likely killed her instantly. Kelly’s story doesn’t end here.

You see, 7 years ago Kelly had told friends and family that she had experienced something different during another mundane Sunday church service. She said for the first time she accepted what the Christian religion calls the “Gospel of Truth”. Her acceptance of Jesus as her Savior and following repentance assured her that she would find herself in heaven when death came to her.

Today, death found Kelly and she indeed stands before God in heaven. It is her judgment day – a day in which we all must face God and answer to Him for our life on earth. For the first time, Kelly will look up and see the face of God the Father, with Jesus Christ sitting at his right hand side. At that moment, she will notice the face of an innocent young child who is sitting on Christ’s knee. Kelly’s secret was never truly hidden, and now her own daughter asks – “Why did you kill me mommy? Why didn’t you choose to love and accept me the way God loves and accepts you?”

I don’t know how Kelly responded to that piercing question. I can only imagine the surprise that baby girls’ father will have when he dies and meets the daughter he never knew he had.

Healthy aging tips:

As you age, there will be periods of both joy and stress. It’s important to build your resilience and find healthy ways to cope with challenges. This ability will help you make the most of the good times and keep your perspective when times are tough.

  • Focus on the things you’re grateful for. The longer you live, the more you lose. But as you lose people and things, life becomes even more precious. When you stop taking things for granted, you appreciate and enjoy what you have even more.
  • Acknowledge and express your feelings. You may have a hard time showing strong emotions, perhaps feeling that such a display is inappropriate and weak. But burying your feelings can lead to anger, resentment, and depression. Don’t deny what you’re going through. Find healthy ways to process your feelings, perhaps by talking with a close friend or writing in a journal.
  • Accept the things you can’t change. Many things in life are beyond our control. Rather than stressing out over them, focus on the things you can control such as the way you choose to react to problems. Face your limitations with dignity and a healthy dose of humor.
  • Look for the silver lining. As the saying goes, “What doesn’t kill us makes us stronger.” When facing major challenges, try to look at them as opportunities for personal growth. If your own poor choices contributed to a stressful situation, reflect on them and learn from your mistakes.
  • Take daily action to deal with life’s challenges. When challenges seem too big to handle, sweeping them under the carpet often appears easier. But ignoring the problem doesn’t make it go away; it allows both the problem and your anxiety to build. Instead, take things one small step at a time. Even a small step can go a long way to boosting your confidence and reminding you that you are not powerless.

Choose an activity for your joyful aging:

  • Pick up a long-neglected hobby
  • Play with your grandchildren or a favorite pet
  • Learn something new (an instrument, a foreign language, a new game)
  • Get involved in your community (volunteer or attend a local event)
  • Take a class or join a club
  • Go on a weekend trip to a place you’ve never visited
  • Spend time in nature (take a walk, go fishing, enjoy a scenic view)
  • Enjoy the arts (visit a museum, go to a concert or a play)

Healthy eating Tips:

  • Load up on high-fiber fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. Your whole digestive system is slower, so fiber is very important. Consume fiber-rich foods such as whole grains, fruit, and vegetables. They will help you feel more energetic and give you fuel to keep going.
  • Put effort into making your food look and taste good. Your tastebuds aren’t as strong and your appetite may not be the same, but your nutritional needs are just as important as ever. If you don’t enjoy eating like you used to, put a little more effort into your meals, including the way you flavor, prepare, and present your food.
  • Watch out for dehydration. Because of physical changes, older adults are more prone to dehydration. So make sure you are drinking plenty of fluid, even if you don’t feel thirsty. If you’re not getting enough water, you’re not going to be as sharp and your energy will suffer.
  • Make meals a social event. It’s more enjoyable to eat with others than alone. Invite people over. You can share cooking and cleanup duties.

Exercising Tips:

  • Check with your doctor before starting any exercise program. Find out if any health conditions or medications you take affect what exercise you should choose.
  • Find an activity you like and that motivates you to continue. You may want to exercise in a group, like in a sport or class, or prefer a more individual exercise like swimming.
  • Start slow. If you are new to exercise, a few minutes a day puts you well on the way towards building a healthy habit. Slowly increase the time and intensity to avoid injury.
  • Walking is a wonderful way to start exercising. Exercise doesn’t have to mean strenuous activity or time at the gym. In fact, walking is one of the best ways to stay fit. Best of all, it doesn’t require any equipment or experience and you can do it anywhere.

Tips for Sharp Mind:

  • Try variations on what you know. For some people, it might be games. Other people may enjoy puzzles. Still others may enjoy trying out new cooking recipes. Find something that you enjoy and continue to try new variations and challenges. If you like crosswords, move to a more challenging crossword series or try your hand at a new word game. If you like to cook, try a completely different type of food, or try baking if you’ve mostly been cooking over the stove.
  • Work something new in each day. You don’t have to work elaborate crosswords or puzzles to keep your memory sharp. Try to work in something new each day, whether it is taking a different route to the grocery store or brushing your teeth with a different hand.
  • Take on a completely new subject. Taking on a new subject is a great way to continue to learn. Have you always wanted to learn a different language? Learn new computer skills? Learn to golf? There are many inexpensive classes at community centers or community colleges that allow you to tackle new subjects. Volunteering is also a great way to learn about a new area. Taking classes and volunteering is a great way to boost social connections, which is another brain strengthener.
